Nowadays, more and more people are interested in the stock market and want to trade stocks. This can bring them a lot of money if they are wise and know what shares to buy and where from. The computer can help them in this case. To be more precise, Portfolio Manager is a helpful program for anyone interested in the stock market. Portfolio Manager is able to keep complete information regarding all the trades made by a user, thus allowing him to see at any moment if the trading is profitable or not.

Windows users can run this application without problems. Windows XP, 2000, Vista and 7 are all supported by the application. Inexperienced computer users shouldn't worry about anything, as the interface is simple enough to be used by anyone. The first thing to do after running the application is to create a new portfolio and choose a default stock market. After completing this, Portfolio Manager will automatically update the prices for all the stocks using the Internet.

After creating a portfolio, one can start adding trades to it. Doing this is one simple task, as all the fields that should be completed with data are highly intuitive. Giving a price and a number of stocks will be enough for getting started. A Trade Diary is available in the application, allowing the user to add various information regarding all his trades.

Besides offering the possibility to add trades, the program also features a Stock Calculator that can help the user see if buying or selling certain shares will bring him profit or not. This feature should be used only by experienced users, as there is a lot of data required to be entered.

Pros

It can keep a history of all the trades done using a specific stock market. Besides that, it contains a stock calculator that helps the user see if his shares are profitable or not. Furthermore, the program's settings and database can be protected with a password.

Cons

The software requires some experience regarding the stock market and trading shares, for fully using all its functions and features. Portfolio Manager is a software for managing stock market trades.
